Most of the people on
this earth would adjust with the things they got in life while few of them
design their very own destiny. Michael Mullan is the one that counts among
those few. He is known for his hard work he has done in the field of biomedical
research. Out of the very few bio-medical researchers we had all round the
world his name would be on the top for the huge amount of success he had and
the loads of hard work he had put in to achieve it. Michael Mullan started as
physician in England and then pursued his medical degree from London
University. The unquenchable thirst of education made him also fetch his PhD
from the same London University giving him a title Dr. Michael Mullan. His saga
of success didn’t simply end there. His perspiration of achieving something big
always made him do that.
He is not simply a hard
worker but also a leader. Even Now after achieving many great successes he
hasn’t stopped. Michael Mullan
is now the CEO of the Roskamp institute located in Sarasota located in Florida.
He published over 200 research papers and among most of them he is the senior
author and the count hasn’t come to an end still. Under his leadership his team is carrying a
continuous research on Alzheimer's, Gulf War Illness, Traumatic Brain Research
and further neuropsychiatric disorders. He is even a CEO and chairman of the
Board for Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals. He led several teams in his work and is
an ideal role model for all those who worked with him. His unending passion
towards research work made him shine special from others and reach peaks in his
career. He is the person who invented the Brain Reserve Index, a numerical
index that indicates risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. Even then he
didn’t take the entire credit and shared it to his team members. He has such a
versatile character that every one of us would wish to have.
He and his team in
accordance with the Roskamp Institute, has devoted their lives to understanding
the origin and reasoning behind neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric
disorders and addictions and to find cures that are effective. The fear of
failure never existed with them and they are very sure that they will succeed.
Among the entire bio medical community his research on Alzheimer
is well known and stand erect among all other works in the respective field.
His a
role model not only to those who work in bio medical field but also to the
entire world for his hard work he had put in even at such an age and constantly
working to overcome the neuropsychiatric disorder along with his team in
accordance with the Roskamp Institute.
